Teresa Petersen

Teresa Petersen came to FDA with 10
years’ experience in technical theatre,
bringing additional expertise in rigging
systems design and CAD drafting to
the office.
Presently she is working on the new
motorized rigging systems and stage
lifts for FDA’s Zaryadye project in
Moscow and the Marina Bay Sands
Casino theatres in Singapore, as well
as the renovation of Alice Tully Hall
and The Juilliard School at Lincoln
Center here in New York.
Teresa is also designing rigging and
stage equipment for the onboard
theatres on two cruise ship lines,
the Celebrity / Solstice and RCCL’s
new Genesis class. The ships are
scheduled to be launched in 2008 and
2009.
Among her other projects are Ciudad
del Flamenco, in Spain; the Herb
Alpert Educational Village in California
and the Asian Cultural Center in South
Korea.
Prior to joining FDA, she served as
Technical Director at the University of
California-Davis Theatre Department,
Assistant Technical Director at the La
Jolla Playhouse in California and at
the McCarter Theatre in Princeton,
NJ.
Teresa earned her MFA in Technical
Design and Production at the Yale
School of Drama and her BA in Theatre
at the University of Northern Iowa.
