Michael Wyant
Michael Wyant joined FDA in August 2018 as a project manager. He previously worked at Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, CT for 13 years -- including over six years as Director of Production. He began at LWT as the Assistant Technical Director and was promoted to Technical Director after two seasons. Some of Mike's favorite LWT projects include the world premiere of METEOR SHOWER by Steve Martin; MY PARIS, directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall; LET ME DOWN EASY, written and performed by Anna Deavere Smith and with scenery by David Rockwell.

Prior to his tenure at LWT, he spent two summers at Williamstown Theatre Festival as the Associate Technical Director, and was the Assistant Technical Director and Master Carpenter for three seasons at Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, PA.

Michael is a native of Hilton, NY and graduated from Ithaca College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Production, with a concentration in Technical Direction. He studied abroad for a semester at the Ithaca College London Center where he was able to travel to 10 countries -- and was banned from none of them.

Michael enjoys watching football; rescuing old dogs; spending time outdoors including gardening, camping, hiking, and water skiing; but is hit or miss with the beach.
